On Saturday 7th May The Croydon ringers and friends annual outing took us to the North Bucks area for a busy day of ringing on some fabulous bells all arranged for us by Brian Baldwin, Chris's father.

The outing was notable for it's variety, a total of 6 towers and a visit to the home of Alan Marchbank who has a 10 bell 15lb mini ring installed in his garage, the Broadway Campanile, which proved to be one of the highlights of the day.

The day finished with a happy but weary band enjoying a meal at the Shaanti Indian restaurant in Heath and Reach.

The towers visited were:

SS Peter & Paul, Olney (10 - 24cwt)
St James Great, Hanslope (8 - 22cwt)
SS Peter & Paul, Newport Pagnell (8 - 21cwt)
Cross & Stable, Downs Barn (8 - 6cwt)
St Mary, Great Brickhill (8 - 14cwt)
All Saints, Leighton Buzzard (12 - 35cwt)
